My favorite things and places include (in no particular order) books, chocolate, tea, scarves, church, cheese, Bryn Mawr College, praying, reading, crocheting, handbags, European art, the Coptic language, the Metropolitan Opera House, baking brownies and cookies, trying out vegan recipes, cleaning, warm sweaters, bad action movies where everything blows up, taking pictures, my bed, Barnes and Noble, long car rides, being onstage, Shakespeare, post-colonial literature, literary criticism, Homi Bhabha, music, lattes, the Bible, my bridesmen–a gift from God I am not worthy of having but have been given because of His great mercy and love, inexplicable good moods, libraries.
